Amidst it All: Let Go and Let God
I think we can all agree that everyone has something that isn’t going right in their lives. And that’s why I am glad when I can speak with someone who has a knack for turning my negative into a positive. I am encouraged as well when I can speak life into someone’s doom and gloom situation. We live in a fast paced world and we want to make sure that we have a handle on everything that concerns us. We like to be in control. When things are out of whack, we get anxious and nervous and miserable. As maturing Christians, we know we are called to deal with these hurdles in life in a different way. We know that we have to put our faith and trust in God, entirely, for His strength, His wisdom, and His guidance. There are a couple of sayings we tend to draw on to see us through these troublesome times: 1. "Where God guides, He provides." 2. "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called." 3. "God will make a way." 4. "If God brings you to it,...
