  The Bible is clear. So what’s the problem?   Why do we find ourselves walking in disobedience? Do we believe the Words written on the pages of the Book? Do we accept them as coming from God, who created this earth? The teachings of the Bible are vast and profound. And so it is understandable for one to suggest that the Bible is complicated. However, and I love to use the term - as Christians - because that’s who we are and we have a reputation to uphold, Amen? As Christians, we must get to the stage where the Bible becomes our go to book. As it stands, many people are challenged when it comes to the Bible, because there are so many different versions, some which may not be too easy to understand.   Many persons in the Christian community are confused by different denominations having different doctrines, there may be conflicting interpretations, cultural differences, and just people holding different perspectives.   And that’s why it’s important for us have open di...

  You know Family, many times we go through some serious life threatening, dark and emotionally challenging situations , and it is only then when we perk up and realize that if we had only listened to the Holy Spirit speaking to us, we would not have been in this position. It’s unfortunate. But it’s only when we lose a job, lose a loved one to death, get a bad doctor’s report about our health, that we are forced to stop, look, listen and obey.   The difficulty most times is that many people do not have that connection with the Holy Spirit, or they listen to the wrong voices. But in truth and in fact, God always sends a Word. He always has a message.   How does God speak to you? How does God speak to me? Your answer might be different to mine, but certainly there are general ways in which God speaks to His people.   You have heard this before, no doubt, and you should have already experienced this.   There’s a game I really, really love called dominoes. And in this day and age there’s an app for that. Somebody introduced me to that recently and I’ve been using it a lot these days. You know dominoes. Start with double six or the highest double. Each player then matches their tiles with either end of the domino chain. The player who plays all their tiles first or reaches a specified point total, wins the round or the entire game.   Matching is crucial here in order to win. We speak a lot, most times vocally or audibly, we use our voices and we can be heard. Even the dumb speak, if you really check it out, because they do sign language or their actions would communicate for them. Our actions very often would match our words, or our words would match our actions. Most people however, do not in fact say what they mean nor mean what they say.
