Deliverance & Freedom: Receive a Fresh Anointing Today

You know, I pray that everyone who comes by here each day would want to have a closer walk with God. These are serious times and we are nearing home.

However, the reality of this life is that in our walk with God, there are seasons where we feel dry, weary, or trapped in spiritual battles.

But God doesn’t want us to stay in bondage—He desires to pour out fresh anointing, bringing deliverance, freedom, and power into our lives.

So today we want to come out of bondage, embrace God's presence and receive the breakthrough He has for us!

Many believers struggle with unseen chains—fear, addiction, depression, or spiritual oppression. But the Bible tells us that the anointing of God has the power to break every yoke: Isaiah 10:27 (NLT) – “In that day the Lord will end the bondage of his people. He will break the yoke of slavery and lift it from their shoulders.”

We've said this already but it is worth repeating. The anointing isn’t just a feeling—it’s the supernatural power of God that shatters the strongholds in our lives.

We cannot continue to live in bondage in this one life that we have to live here on earth. We have to get out of these conditions that have us bound, these situations that are holding us back. The Lord wants to release us.

Family, the only way we can overcome spiritual battles is through the Holy Spirit.

We also touched on spiritual warfare a few days ago and we established that spiritual attacks are real. But thank God He has given us divine weapons through His Spirit.

When we are anointed, we walk in His authority, and no weapon formed against us can prosper.

2 Corinthians 10:4 – “We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.”

We do not fight battles in our strength but through the power of the Holy Spirit. A fresh anointing equips us to overcome every attack of the enemy and walk in victory. So as the challenges come, and even before, we seek fresh anointing for the journey.

When we do this, we can step into healing and restoration.

Many of us need healing—physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Your loved ones can't do it for you. The doctors can't do it for you. The anointing of God is what brings restoration, reviving what was lost or broken.

Psalm 23:5 – “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows!”

When God anoints us, He restores what the enemy has stolen. He fills us with His presence, and we experience peace, joy, and divine healing. Deliverance and freedom.

Do we want to receive that? How do we receive this fresh anointing?

It starts with us, you, me, ourselves.

We have to have that desire for God, more and more and more.

Ask for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit – “So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” Luke 11:13.

Surrender Everything – Let go of sin, distractions, and burdens. “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” James 4:8.

Walk in Obedience – Follow His Word and be led by the Spirit. “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” Galatians 5:16.

Worship & Pray – Seek His presence daily. “One day as these men were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Appoint Barnabas and Saul for the special work to which I have called them.’” Acts 13:2.

Then we go down to verse 19 of the same Acts chapter 3 where it says “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord.”

Family, God is ready to pour out fresh oil upon us. But we have to open our hearts, receive His anointing, and step into our breakthrough.

Don’t settle for yesterday’s anointing—ask God for more!

He desires to fill us afresh so we can walk in freedom, power, and purpose.

So the question for us today is: What strongholds need to be broken in our lives? What area needs a fresh touch from the Holy Spirit?

When we would have answered that, then we surrender it to God today and receive the anointing that sets us free!

This is a life-changing encounter. Don’t miss it. That's when our deliverance will come.
