Fresh Oil, Fresh Fire: Move in the Miraculous!

Me? I want to get there. In fact, I need to get there.

Where? I want to be able to say to my body - be healed in the name of Jesus and I am healed, literally.

I want to be confident enough when I study the Bible to come on this platform, expound on the Word, answer questions, and have an informed discussion with you as we share.

So this study is for me as much as it is for you who also want to receive fresh fire and move in the miraculous.

What does it take? F A I T H!

Family, the journey of faith is filled with challenges, but God never calls us without equipping us.

And that’s why when you feel the nudge to share your testimony or the Word of God with someone, you must do it. Because you don’t operate on your own but in the miraculous.

Today, we will unlock the power of the Holy Spirit with Fresh Oil, Fresh Fire, and discover how recognizing who God is will propel us into the miraculous.

Biblical examples…

When Moses doubted himself, God didn’t affirm Moses’ abilities. Instead, God revealed His own identity.

The same truth applies to me and you: our strength is not in who we are, but in who God is.

Let’s go to the book of Exodus 3:12 (AMP).

"And God said, 'Certainly I will be with you...'"

Jesus echoed this truth in John 8:58, saying, "I assure you and most solemnly say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM."

This means that the eternal and sufficient I AM is always present, always faithful, and always powerful to equip those He calls.

Just as prophets, priests, and kings were anointed for divine assignments, we too have a work to do and need fresh oil for the task ahead.

1 John 2:27 "As for you, the anointing which you received from Him remains [permanently] in you..."

Like Moses, when God calls us, He also anoints us.

When Moses encountered God in the burning bush, it changed the trajectory of his life. The fire of God refines us and makes us bold to step into our calling.

Acts 2:3-4 "There appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were being distributed among them, and they rested on each one of them..."

The Holy Spirit’s fire emboldens us to proclaim truth, heal the sick, and walk in supernatural power.

Another example of moving in the miraculous can be found in the life of Gideon.

In Judges 6, Gideon was hiding in fear when the angel of the Lord appeared and called him a "mighty warrior."

Like Moses, Gideon questioned his worthiness, saying in Judges 6:15, "O Lord, how shall I rescue Israel? Behold, my family is the least... and I am the youngest in my father’s house”.

But God responded with the same powerful assurance in the following verse, "Surely, I will be with you”. Judges 6:16.

When Gideon finally accepted that his strength was not in himself but in God’s presence, he led Israel to victory against overwhelming odds.

Once Moses and Gideon recognized who God was and that He was with them, we see that miracles followed.

Likewise, Family, when we grasp the reality of I AM WHO I AM being with us, we can move in faith and expect supernatural breakthroughs.

Mark 16:17-18 "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues... they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well."

Family, miracles happen when we rely on God’s presence, not on our own strength. Remember now, a miracle for us doesn’t have to look like the parting of the Red Sea, or Jesus turning water into wine.

Have you ever gone to the doctor to follow up on some tests fearing cancer and the tests came back benign - no trace of cancer? Have you gone to bed at night sick, feeling so weak that you can't even pray, but wake up the next morning feeling completely healed? That’s also what a miracle looks like.

Family, we have to trust that our God, The I AM, is sufficient for all our fears, anxieties, and challenges.

Like Moses and Gideon, who went from doubting themselves to delivering nations, you too can step into the miraculous with boldness and faith.

God has promised in Matthew 28:20 … “lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

As we’ve come by to seek fresh oil, fresh fire to move in the miraculous, let us seek the presence of the Holy Spirit, trust in His power, and move forward with confidence, knowing that the God of miracles is with us.
